That same company told me if it looked a little deeper you’ve seen one for your Mustang . Oh well that’s me measure once cut twice what he sent me if you’re interested.
The one for the lightning I got coming works, but it’s just doesn’t have the Mustang on the back and the front trunk on the button. It’s got the pick up truck. It’s fine.

My purse was stolen and in it was my Mach-E key fob (and iPhone, etc). Thanks to my Backup Start Code I was able to get home.
A replacement key is $300. Then it has to be programmed, which takes 1-1/2 hours and costs an additional $225, for a total of $525 for a replacement key fob. Gone are the days when you could go to the hardware store and have an extra car key made for a few bucks.

The astronomical key cost exists in part so they can sell you that ridiculous key/windshield/tire warranty nonsense at signing. The idea a dealer would charge $225 to program a key (i.e. hook it up to a computer and click 'start') is nothing more than taking advantage of a consumer

True, but note that is not new, and is $125. You can buy a Lightning key (new) for $80 and a shell with needed button for $13 from the following sites:

You will have to do the button swap yourself, but it isn't hard. I swapped the back from one of my existing fobs to the 5-button one, since the existing fob is now for emergency use only.

I suspect the item you quoted is actually a Ligntning fob with the button and back switch performed by the seller.

I actually never looked at the link eBay sent me for the Mustang version of the key that I ordered, which was for the lightning, which will work, and I’m glad I didn’t , For the Mustang is like $130

Probably. Make sure with the vendor that it operates in the 315 MHz spectrum. If so, it’s the same key I have. ??

Took a couple of tries, but it works Ta da!
Like I said, they did have the one for our car, but it was like another $50 so this one’s fine.
I think the reason I messed up the program in the first time is it looked like he put in the original key and then the new one he got and then the original it’s actually original your second key and then the third key key I just didn’t see it at that Time I was looking at the video.

#46 is for 4 button, I bought a 5 button (link is on #77). #71 is the same procedure as the YouTube video, no go. I'm wondering now if with my 2 functioning fobs, my phone is setup as a key, maybe the 4th is corrupt? Called my local dealership, they still don't offer a 5 button fob, even for the 24 Mach-E??? Service say for $75.00 they would try to program the Lighting with no guarantee.

$75, I was quoted $175 by my local dealership.

Video worked for me, at first I thought he did his original key and then he did the new key and then the original key but then I watched again and I had done it wrong the first time so the second time Worked fine. The problem is you can’t see his screen fully when it’s doing it and then he says key code. It actually has the code there, but you don’t have to do anything, but he doesn’t mention that the key. The words so I was kind of like why is it give me that number do I have to enter it so anyways once I did it the right way works.

You can get a replacement key fob from a number of online sources for way less than $300. You will still have to pay dealer to program, but shop around multiple dealers, you may find one that will do it for less.

I don't know specifically about the MME, but Locksmiths can often reprogram for vehicle fobs. I bought a key fob for another car on amazon for $86 and a locksmith programed it for $75. Might be worth looking into.... In fact:

The “program it yourself” thing requires that two keys already programmed into the car are present. ??

Couldn't figure out why I the key wouldn't program. Broke down and had the dealership do it, he threw me a pro bono because they had issues doing the HVBJB recall. Happy now, have a functioning frunk button on the fob.
