I bought a 5 button remote on eBay, followed the YouTube directions above with no success. After loading the 2nd fob in the counsel I don't see "factory keycard code" so the 3rd fob doesn't get programed. Not putting foot on the brake, tried with seatbelt connected and not connected, in WIFI router range and not. Any other suggestions?
What frequency does the remote operate on? If it’s not 315MHz, it won’t work. It needs to either be a MME key or a 2022-2023 F150 Lightning key. ??

The seller does not state the frequency just that it is compatible with the 22-24 Lighting. But I'm not getting that far,

Unless it wants to sense all 3 fobs, I don't think that's the issue. After inserting the 2nd fob I don't get "factory keycard code".

I bought a third key for my car. The idea was partially that in case I lost a key (which I’ve never done in my life, being the child of a hyper-paranoid master locksmith) I could just buy a key online and program it myself. It requires 2 keys to program a new key to the car, so having 3 is hedging against a loss. ??

Of course, the real reason I got the third key was because it was an F150 Lightning key and it has a frunk button. The geek in me needed that extra button. ??
Does it tell you anywhere in the manual how to program that third key or is that just something you have to look up?

My 2021 manual does not say anything other than to contact a dealer. ?‍♂?

Nothing in the manual but the procedure is pretty straight forward on YouTube:

Will this work?

Probably. Make sure with the vendor that it operates in the 315 MHz spectrum. If so, it’s the same key I have. ??

My purse was stolen and in it was my Mach-E key fob (and iPhone, etc). Thanks to my Backup Start Code I was able to get home.
A replacement key is $300. Then it has to be programmed, which takes 1-1/2 hours and costs an additional $225, for a total of $525 for a replacement key fob. Gone are the days when you could go to the hardware store and have an extra car key made for a few bucks.
Good argument for using PaaK.

See posts #46 and #71 above.
#46 is for 4 button, I bought a 5 button (link is on #77). #71 is the same procedure as the YouTube video, no go. I'm wondering now if with my 2 functioning fobs, my phone is setup as a key, maybe the 4th is corrupt? Called my local dealership, they still don't offer a 5 button fob, even for the 24 Mach-E??? Service say for $75.00 they would try to program the Lighting with no guarantee.
