I just had my Mach-E in for a SOBDM replacement. Picked it up, went to grab my girlfriend, and now the passenger door is catching on the frame pretty badly.
Before the service, there were zero issues. We had just been on a trip and used that door multiple times without any problems. I even opened it again in the Ford lot before handing the vehicle over.
Now it’s noticeably misaligned and catching every time.
There are:
No dents
No visible signs of impact
Nothing that would suggest it was hit
So I’m trying to figure out what could have caused this.
Does anyone know:
Could this happen from improper reassembly during the SOBDM replacement?
Would they have needed to remove or adjust any panels or hinges to access that area?
It feels too coincidental that this started immediately after service.
Appreciate any insight before I go back to Ford.
