This is so expensive.
Mine got covered by warranty.

Did they say anything about the cause? What's the impact other than the error message.

Whole slew of error messages starting 2 weeks ago with door fault. Have all the other messages mentioned here plus the car now puts the parking brake on. I can release it.... so far. But backing out of garage this am, the car kept locking the parking brake on. Taking to dealer mañana

Got the first error message a couple weeks ago. Darth Maul is in at the dealership now. They believe the problem is with the charge door module, which costs $645. I will keep everyone posted. Fingers crossed its just software...

I had my door mechanism fail, door would just pop open non-stop, same charge to repair. I am out of OG warranty, but was covered by my extended.

In my situation the car threw no errors when it was opening, but since they fixed it throws "door fault service required" after 3min of turning on, every time. Dealer said they have no idea and would take a day to diagnosis, so I havent bothered yet.

I have the same issue. After my 2021 Mustang Mach-E had been parked for three weeks due to a holiday, I received the door warning. I had never experienced any problems before that.

The message is: Portier Storing, onderhoud z.s.m. (Door fault, service required).

All doors are working fine and lock properly.

The car currently has 52,800 km (about 32,800 miles) on the odometer.

I’m based in the Netherlands. I visited the local dealer, who advised me to keep driving and see if the warning disappears on its own. It has now been more than a week.

Has anyone already found a solution for this?

Joining the fun I started getting this maybe 4 weeks ago. All the door worked so I didn't care. Taking the car to the dealership is 3 or 4 weeks without a car. I can't do that.............. but yesterday the passenger door started randomly opening at stops. Today it randomly opened as I was turning. Out of warranty.... 700 to 800$ to fix an actuator doesn't sound fun. Anyone diy'd this repair?

Hello Ford, this is crazy and not a good look for something that is repeatedly happening.
My issue started 3 days after going to the dealer to check for the problem.
It's almost like checking for the problem, caused the problem.

My dealership says as long as your 12V battery is okay, there is no problem.
But that's not what owners are saying.

My door stopped opening on its own literally after I posted that post..... Not once has it 'randomly' opened on its own after doing it for two days like 30 times.

Now Dec, had a light since August. Not fixing it.....
