Door Module Updates -- changes in door presenters operation

The series of updates for Bluecruise changed how far I have to pull the inside lever back on my car, takes much less effort now, it was very noticeable

Since the interior door release lever no longer activates the presenter, it won’t wear the presenter every time the door is opened from the inside. ??

Now I just need to scrape the kibble together in order to get a Mongoose Plus. ??

FDRS is the software that the dealers use to diagnose and update the cars. Ford doesn’t make the software updates available through it unless they are official releases. The availability of those bits of software is usually earlier through FDRS than OTA, sometimes several months earlier. ??

Maybe I just didn't notice, but I do not think my 2021 job 2 MME has ever used the door presenters when opening from the inside of the car.

I just checked my 22 GT May build date and I can hear the presenters working when using the interior door handle.

Weird, I just checked my 2021 Job 1 and the presenters don’t activate when opening the doors from the inside, they never have. When you pull the e-release the latch pops open which does push the door a little, but it’s not the presenter. I even tried in the back seat which only has the e-release and it did the same thing.
I did have the doors updates as part of the 21P22 CSP, but that didn’t change the opening behavior.

The 3.x.x update series has a ton of module updates with it. I suspect you'll be seeing all them come out over the next few months. GWM, then APIM and possibly a TCU, followed by all the rest of the modules. This is why they all showed up in FDRS at the same time.
