Drive-away warning or prevention when charging?

I don't agree. You have to unplug, then step on the brake and hit power again.
So I wanted to confirm this (and start the car to see if in fact it triggered another update). I have confirmed that IF you step on the pedal and push Start while plugged in, you CANNOT drive the vehicle. If you then go and unplug the car, and then return to the vehicle, you CANNOT drive the vehicle. You must put your foot on the brake and push Start again to be able to shift to D or R and drive.
