Drive MODE is not working

In the last day, my drive mode is not working in my 2021. Also no drive mode graphics on drive screen. Does not matter which control setting I use it does not seem to engage. It basically runs like a normal gas driven car. No damping on the brakes when I am coming to a stop. Any suggestions?

Do you have 1PD on? If you are used to 1PD being on any drive mode with it off will feel like there's no regen.

OTA updates will sometimes cause 1PD to be turned off without user interaction.

They will, just not as much of a difference as 1PD. But even with 1PD off, there‘s more lift off regen in Unbridle than Engage, and almost none in Whisper.

Are we talking like roll 1000 ft vs roll 999 ft? When I turn off 1PD in unbridled the car just rolls. I've never noticed regen with it off. Admittedly, I don't drive with it off so I'm no expert.

Maybe you’re just used to 1PD? My car has always had much more noticeable lift off regen in Unbridle. Try switching between Whisper and Unbridle while coasting. Not sure if it will show the difference on the power meter since I don’t have one, but I would think it would.

Do you mean the screen in front of you or the big screen? Engage has probably the most boring graphical elements on the IPC (screen in front of you). You may need to provide some more photos so people can help you out better.

Wild - I'm working from home for the first 2 hours this morning so I jumped in the car and tested it. Sure enough it does show regen on engage and unbridled, barely any, but there is some. Whisper has none. Still feels like no regen braking to someone who keeps 1PD on though. TIL, thanks General!

It is the screen in front of me. There use to be different colour graphics depending on which mode you were in.

WARMLAND are you getting a message that states "drive mode unavailable " or is this something different ?
IF it's just that message it's a bug from what the others have said. Ive had it happen a couple of times. It appears to kick car down to "engage" . No graphics or anything . I surmise that's what's going on because the "brake coach" shows up and Whisper mode doesn't have that. My 1 pedal worked just fine and the "coach" showed that regen was happening .

I am not receiving a message saying the drive mode is unavailable. Turning the nob does not change to any different mode. It is all the same and no graphics usually associated with the modes.

Tap the drive mode tab on the screen.

If you're using the knob I bet your music is really loud.
