I did basically the same thing to mine without the side work.

mine is blue stripes on star white.

Thanks! My kids thought I should put the running pony on the side stripes instead of the GT/PE, but I figure that lit up ponies front and rear (and puddle lamps) were enough.

like the hood stripes, but the straight side stripes hide the curves and hips.

Damn, so I have a twin!
Apparently separated at birth! I see you even have the mud flaps! Your spoiler is close to what I want, but not quite. I also have the EV-Vida light up rear pony on order to replace the GT badge. Just enough to tell them apart!

You should also consider removing the side badges or replacing those with a GT badge, really cleans the profile look up.

That was actually my plan, but then the striper suggested changing the stripe to what I have. I might remove this badges down the road.
