That's very strange. Then what is the difference between job1 and 2023.5, other than the date?
By all indications I could find online I have 2023.5, but the date is May 2023.
Job 2 (also sometimes called 2023.5) started around June 30th. The differences depend on the trim and battery.

Some of the differences (visible on the window sticker):

The standard range battery chemistry was changed to LFP.

On standard range vehicles, there's a slightly larger heater (because of the battery chemistry change)

The internal A/C charger was changed from 10.5 kW to 11kW

The Ford EVSE switched from being an included accessory to being an extra ($500) accessory

On job 1 cars, bluecruise 1.2 was preinstalled. On job 2 cars, it was bluecruise 1.3.

On job 1 cars, there's either no mention of how long the bluecruise subscription lasts for, or it lists it as a 3 year trial - and there's no additional cost for it. On job 2 cars, it lists as a 90 day trial (no charge) or a 3 year subscription (for $2100)

What do you think of this sticker? 2023.5 or not?

Edited: it is May 25 2023

How can I check the difference between the builds? By vin? By the presence of any elements or features? By window sticker?
the key functional difference, 23.5 models built starting in july only one coolant tank for the battery, so in the frunk if you pop that long back piece off by the front windshield (it's easy to do) a 23.5 WON'T have the coolant tank by the right front shock tower. just the one central in the back towards the windshield.

That's a job2. It might have been ordered on May 25th, 2023, but I doubt it's build date was May. Your image doesn't include the VIN, so it's not possible to validate it.

you can check the build date on parts.ford.com, put in your vin and select any dealer, and it's on the leff side by your car info

doing the same thing to me now. Could be a system/weekend issue. it's Ford ;)
It's a shame because now I'm really curious about the car @Phobosbag was posting about.

Ford sometimes changes parts within a single job, but that's always a one-time change. So if they changed from the 10.5kw charger to the 11hw charger, they wouldn't go back to the 10.5 (and then later back to the 11 again.) At least I think I'm sure about that. ;)

This is my window sticker. I must have gotten the date wrong, I probably don't have May 2023. The website also shows N/A.
I have another sticker with this date, but it's probably not the production date.

If your curious, there are people with continuous access to the Ford PTS and FDRS systems that would be able to look things up for you. They'd need your VIN number, but you could send it to them via a DM. @Mike G is one of those (extremely helpful) people.

Exactly.

The second coolant tank (pre-2023.5) was located in the void marked in the photo below

Ditto on the build date N/A.

At the bottom, centered R and L, of my window sticker is series of letters/numbers concluding with 07 07 23. That looks a great deal like a date.

The other characters have no obvious relationship to the VIN.

When a friend did some Forscan and FDRS magic on my car I thought I understood him to say the build date was July 12.

Perhaps I misunderstood him and the 7th was the build date. Or perhaps the 7th indicates a date the car was put in the queue to be built at a later date.

I compared the sticker picture above and my sticker. Dollars to donuts the image is not the original sticker that came with the car when it left the factory. Accordingly the date at the bottom will not reflect the original queuing/or build date. Read on.

The prices the pictured sticker shows for base price and the 91 kwh battery are the post price drop prices that Ford jiggled around to account for the big price drop. When Ford did that it issued new window stickers for the vehicles showing a different date on the bottom middle line. Those were sent to dealers in electronic format.

In my case the post drop sticker showed a date of February 21, 2024 (give or take a day or two). That’s the sticker that I saw displayed on the dealer’s website when shopping the car. The prices on that sticker line up with the numbers shown on the image above. My sticker with the 07 07 23 date is the original sticker with pre drop prices.

That’s probably more than you wanted to know about these window stickers.
