I’ll tell you. They’ll do the same thing 2010 Mustang GT 315HP 4.6 owners did when the 2011 Mustang GT debuted the 5.0 Coyote at 412HP - cry buckets 😭😭😭
That's gonna happen to those who bought a 2022 GT 5.0l the 23 s650 is gonna have a gob more power

From what I’ve read the engines will be the same as 2022. We shall see in a few weeks.

“Ford should keep the combustion engine lineup intact, at least initially. According to a recent report from Ford Authority citing exclusive sources, the new Mustang will launch with the same 2.3-liter EcoBoost inline-four and 5.0-liter V8 found in the current 2022 model cars. Those engines should get the same 10-speed automatic and six-speed manual transmissions options found today.”

Well, 2021 to 2022 5.0 output actually dropped 10HP due to changes related to emissions compliance. I’m thinking any potential bump in output for ‘23 will be small if at all. Plus, the ‘10-‘11 hp gain was 31%. That ain’t happening again in ICE Mustang world.
