2. Charge cord stuck reprogram battery charge control module
Campaign# 23B50

Thanks,

The modules that would be programmed by those CSP have previously been sent out as OTA.

The question is have the versions that fix those CSP been been sent OTA to your particular car.

One would think that if your car received the correct versions via OTA that the CSP would automatically be marked as completed.

If the updates are applied using FDRS I believe the technician has to mark that the CSP has been completed in some other Ford system for it to be acknowledged as completed. If the updates are applied using FDRS by a DIY person there is no way to mark the CSP as completed.

You can post VIN here
https://www.macheforum.com/site/thr...are-willing-to-look-up-info-for-others.10230/

If you have an HVAC update 22B28 probably has not been received OTA.

If you have PCM, ABS, BECM, SOBDM, and SOBDMC module updates available, it is possible that 23B50 has not been received OTA.

If anyone finds out please let us know. I am LOATHE to take my car to the dealer because I'm afraid they'll screw it up.

I received the same email. I also receive postcards from my local dealer about the same.
Here's an idea. Why isn't there a screen selection that lists all the installed modifications? It's only software.

My experience with the hvac update was it had to be done by the dealer. It took all day. I had it done earlier in the year except for receiving the second key fob. So now I have an appointment to go back, get the second key fob, complete the other update, and fix my driver's door that no longer unlocks as I approach with my key fob or cell phone. I need to unlock it manually. Just like we did in the "good old days". The other doors unlock on approach so it must be something in the driver's door.

Just to clarify, these are not recalls. These are CSPs (Customer Satisfaction Programs).

23B50 specifically states that it will also be in an OTA update.

22B28 is from last year. For many people as I recall it never went away. My dealer finally cleared it when I was in for my 10,000 checkup.

I just took the car to the dealer to perform the charge cable stuck csp. Of course they didn't apply anything else that was pending ?.
The last update I received was on august 19th for the sound system.
Does anyone know if having a pending csp prevents you from getting OTA updates? Before this, I was getting updates pretty much every month.

I do not know the answer to your question but they have been several forum members who have mentioned that they have not received any updates since August. (Me included) I have always been a bit behind on OTA’s and my sense is there have been some issues so I am fine not receiving them for the past few months. I am getting my HVBJB replaced Jan 23 and maybe they will update any software at the same time. Then again maybe not. Just letting you know there appears to be several people in the same situation you find yourself in.

I have a note in my file that 22B28 was covered in Power Up 3.6.1.

Thanks for confirming. I've been pretty lucky with steady updates, tracking a few weeks after the EA gang. But then 4.5 months without updates is very strange. The dealer updated the car with the CSP and it's now cleared from the Ford recall check website. I will wait and see now.
