New discovery:
On the Ford Nav screen, at the bottom there are 3 boxes that show the compass heading, street name, and elevation. I was at a stop light and started poking around.
Touching the direction or elevation opens a menu to set what you want to display in that space. Not many options unless you have a route running, it looks like.
Touching the street name opens up a useful card of info showing the nearest intersection, coordinates, etc, and gives you buttons to find useful services nearby, like charging, hospitals, towing, etc.
It's probably in the manual, but I thought it was pretty cool
