No need to commit a crime to retaliate like keying or flattening his tires . Park real close to both sides of his car . When he comes out he'll find himself blocked in ...just like HE blocked that spot .

I was at the Seattle Premium Outlet in Tulalip yesterday and witnessed the tribal police writing a $124 ticket to a Hummer(older diesel )parked at an EA station
3 years ago my local Walmart had some DCFCs. They were always ICEd. 3 years later and they are gone because there wasn't any revenue coming from them . Hard to get revenue from an item if people can't actually USE said item.
Chargers need to be designated "Tow away zones " like handicapped spots or fire lanes .

And please put them faaaar away from prime parking spots so people are less likely to ICE them.

A local well known national chain store near me has their charging spots (level two) very close to the front door, basically as convenient as handicap spots.

Gotta say I’ve been impressed how often they’re not ICE’d. Part of it may be that there are enough EV‘s in the area to make it obvious what’s going on. As opposed to them always just looking empty. They’re also marked well.

If I owned a Ferrari, I would not want to draw negative attention to myself like that in a way that might encourage people to sabotage my car. But apparently that’s me.

I used to take my wife to physical therapy in Beverly Hills and used to charge my Plug-in Prius in one of the Beverly Hills parking lots. One time I got there and three were in use with the fourth one ICED. The parking attendant told me that he would chase these cars out of the spots but Bev Hills parking enforcement were not policing the chargers and without their support there was nothing he could do. These parking spaces were designated as tow away for vehicles not charging but if this is not enforced it is just empty words.

Some of it was just that the spaces were not used too much and so people felt they were OK to use them. Now that these spaces are used by a lot more cars, ICING is becoming very rare here in Southern California. More of a problem is EVs parking in the spots and not charging. EV drivers should know better.

Just as a note, the reason many of the chargers are close to the entrance is that this is usually the cheapest spot to locate them. It costs a whole lot of money to run trenches to the rear of the parking lot to position them there.

That’s absolutely my experience. If no one ever sees them in use, they just look wasted. “What’s the harm“ it’s not like you’re gonna be blocking anyone.

handicap spots get used enough, and usually there aren’t very many of them, that it doesn’t seem to be a problem. And of course the police are very happy to enforce those with fines.

As more EVs start showing up all of a sudden it becomes clear those parking spots get used and I think more people will follow the rules.

I agree with this so much. To me it’s similar to blocking the entrance to a business as it is preventing customers from purchasing your merchandise or service. It should be treated like theft.
