Erroneous range/charging warning

This afternoon I started driving with 69% battery (180 miles of range displayed) and got a notice (2 audible dings) and then a message saying something along the lines of “There are no public chargers within your range. Please find an outlet to charge.” A few minutes later the same thing happened.
I was driving home from work in Houston with many, many public chargers within 180 miles.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Happened to me today too. I wonder if it has anything to do with the ChargePoint map outage.

I left home on a 15 mile trip at 200 miles of range and 80% charge. Got to my destination 170 miles of range and 70%. Return trip 190 miles of range and still 80%. Wacky stuff

Did you have your HVBJB recall work done? I've been seeing wacky stuff like that on my car ever since the HVBJB recall was done in January.
I'm also seeing the battery charge % randomly go up between 1-3% simply by sitting in the driveway overnight since the recall work.

No recall work done. It seems more like a random number generator. But...... if I were to go on a long trip which number do you believe? I plan on 2.2mi/kw for hi-way travel

Same message! About 1:45 PM PST yesterday. But I thought mine was legit because Inwas driving 59 miles with 66 showing on the dash. But I’m Los Angeles and there are chargers everywhere.

So you drove for 30 miles, started at 80% SOC and ended with 80% SOC?

Mine did that a couple of days ago shortly after it installed 1.4. I went into the navigation and it wasn't showing any chargers anywhere. Then shortly there after it repopulated everything. I still don't have the Tesla chargers showing but it must have been updating something.

We had that "freak out" prior to/related to a HVJB failure.

I've gotten this IPC message occasionally in the past 6 weeks. It's obviously nonsense as per prior posts. I ignore it and within 2 - 5 minutes it comes to its senses and recalibrates.

My shop foreman (also the head EV Tech) thinks it is a fluctuating combination of newish Ford updates + internal intermittent communication mishaps within the network architecture of the car, as it has aged (now over 66k miles on the odo).

He shared that the shop sees a lot more of such intermittent "failure / warning" messages on the Ford Lightnings.
