I searched the forum thoroughly for this issue, but haven’t seen any answers. I am very concerned that something is wrong.

My ‘22 premium AWD ER GOM says 305 miles on a 100% charge! Its a bit warm outside (80-90 degrees). Official EPA range is 277. Did I get the extra-extended battery? Or maybe they gave me a 2024 model seeing how the range goes up every year (despite the exact same battery and drivetrain technology). Maybe I need to take it to a dealer, they may know something I dont.

I agree with David. This sounds a lot like a joke. But...

If you are serious, don't worry about it. You can exceed EPA range if you regularly drive slowly without aggressive acceleration. The GOM does consider driving history.

But really they accidentally installed an extra battery module in your car. ?

I think Mike and David have it all wrong. Obviously the OP filled up with EXtra Capacitive InTensive Electrons (EXCITE). These electrons are EXCITEd, but there's nothing excited about the driving style when you get them. You just go a looooooooooong (yawn) way.

If you don't need all of them, I wouldn't mind siphoning some of them out of your battery and into mine since you're close by.

We have the extended range battery. When we drive by the book the car will give an estimated range of 330+- at 90%.

What part of the country do you live? Maybe you filled up with the premium electrons?
