Wouldn’t fit in a lot of the streets….heck we are getting to the point it doesn’t fit in a lot of our parking lots.
Hawaii. Land is precious; parking lots are small. Our F150 Raptor takes up the full slot at almost every parking lot. It’s been a few years since I visited family in Scotland and England but I suspect wide parking spots are still an extinct species.

I live on a ranch. It’s needed for hauling stuff. Elsewhere it’s a matter of whether certain items can be delivered. Often that answer is no.

Personally I would love a 90’s sized 2 door Ranger EV.

But best Ford will give me is probably a 2020 sized F150 called a Ranger.

I looked at a couple of those. They drive like tractors. I bought a v6 2000 Tacoma instead. It has 230K miles and runs like new. Timing belt has been changed every 80K miles or so.

If a Maverick could be had with the Hybrid drivetrain, ProPower Onboard, and a standard transmission?

Be quite the platform for doing a lot of different things.

I know I know. A mix of old world (3-pedal) and latest world (Native 7.2KW Inverter onboard) isn't going to happen. But a man can dream.

So everyone that drives a truck is insecure?
No, just around 80% of them. :)

I have to laugh at the guys that buy trucks, and then lift and put giant tires on them, making it MORE difficult to lift and load/unload things in the back.

Interesting read, thanks for sharing.

It is obvious that there was no tangible rubrik behind the rankings, this is just the authors preference... for things like tiny crappy hatchbacks.
I know what you mean. I was amazed at the number of available EVs there.

Agreed. I wouldn’t put too much stake in the actual rankings. Outside of the top 10
(And even those I question like the Etron GT) there was no rhyme nor reason for rankings.

Many nearly identical vehicles from the same manufacturer had vastly different rankings.

I did enjoy reading the list. Some very interesting vehicles in there for sure.
I also wonder why they thought the rwd standard range is the “best” trim for the Mach E.
I wonder if AI just wrote the whole thing.

OK, whatever. ??

So everyone that drives a truck is insecure?

My F150 has a built-in 7.2KW 240V generator. And it's the quietest, most efficient generator that I know of. Literally can handle a full load without making a sound any louder than idle. 30 gallons of fuel too.

Not to mention the most remarkable office on wheels since it can sit in Texas Summer without the ICE running, but still sitting in the most comfortable 10 way adjustable massaging seat, HVAC at 68F, Wi-Fi Hotspot supporting remote access to global network administrators tools...... Oh, and Alexa streaming whatever background office Playlist I desire.

But I purchased it because I never felt like a man? ?????

The public square is such an entertaining place to hang out at.
So it is always about you? :) I work for public works and many of my co workers have 4 wheel drive trucks. About the only time the bed is used is when their mountain bike goes in the back. Whether compensating or not, too many people drive gas guzzlers.

My response was to a generalized comment about "MOST" pickup truck drivers. I do in fact consider ME as a potential member of that net. :)

You have substituted MOST with Many. A bit less sweeping. So, I won't make it about me.

But it's amazing that folks can make their insults directed at a wide target, and then be surprised that it didn't go unchallenged?

That’s only because there are only a few groups of people it’s still ok to hate on.

Smokers, Yankees fans, people who so say “PIN number,” and truck drivers. ?
Kidding aside, it is a pet peeve of mine how much hatred people have for generalized groups of people. Hatred is bad, being mean is bad. Kindness should be the default.

Any time people find themselves thinking or saying “I can’t stand (fill in the blank group of people)” they should check themselves.

For some reason we have gotten this figured out as a society for protected groups (race, religion etc) but still haven’t figured out the same ideas should spill into the “people you disagree with” or the opposing sports fans or truck drivers etc.

Lol. It was just in jest.
Getting all worked up about it might be telling also...
But all in jest!
