I tried a few home charging units for my Mach-E GT and I finally found the one that works flawlessly for my home, it really does the job and charges quickly in comparison to other options I tried. I would highly recommend this charging solution for anyone looking. See pic.

Glad you found one you like. Out of morbid curiosity how many set ups have you had? What were the particular issues with the home charger? Mine charges overnight so no big deal if it takes 4 hours or 8 hours in my life. Of course this is coming from an ill-fated Juice Box Owner

Welcome to the club. I have two of them, one at each home. No complaints after 3+ years. The Ford mobile unit was not dependable enough to fully trust it to charge all night without faulting.

I originally just used my mobile adapter to charge overnight, but it was not efficient and slow charging and obviously not meant for it, then I purchased a cheap brand from amazon, but I learned that did not have all the certifications and safety built in, and kept shutting off during charging, little scary, so I finally spent the money for the Grizzle Avalanche charger and hit the jackpot, it has all the safety and certifications built in and works flawlessly. I charge between 10pm to 6am on weekdays and at any time during weekends per my electric company's EV charging program.

Why so low to the ground?
Yeah, not sure why the Electrician installed it but I imagine he had a reason for it, it actually works good in that location, no issues at all.

IF it becomes an issue, just simply move the "resting cradle" up higher; the rest of it can sit low, no bid deal. Your cord looks like it has more than enough length.

I’ve been happy with the FCCS, directly hardwired to a 60A circuit.

It's looking like more and more posters are giving thumbs up to Grizzl-e and Emporia these days. I'm on my second (warranty) ChargePoint with fingers crossed. Hoping they solved the Wifi issue which made their app useless even though the car was charging. Again I'll note that I bought it back in April based on good reviews at the time which are no longer looking so good. Even so, I am pulling for ChargePoint to make it through their issues since they at least followed through on replacement promises. That means a lot these days.

Same with taxes, federal and state. I got back an extra $300 on my taxes this year from buying a charger and installing it.

Thanks for the recommendation, been going back and forth on which one to get after I lost out on the Fisker unit (ordered but my lucky number was never selected - still trying to get the refund from the charge card).

How is the Classic charger downrated to lower amps - software or pins? Unfortunately I can only get a 40amp circuit to the garage.

I've had 2 Grizzl-Es. The Smart version lost it's smart part after about 8 months and wouldn't charge. I flipped a dip switch to kill the modem (at Grizzl-E's guidance) and it works fine now as a dumb charger.
I upgraded to the DUO and couldn't get that one to stabilize between the MME and Lightning. It regularly threw overcurrent codes and shut down unless I plugged them in within the charge window (I tried staggering the start times and that didn't work either). A replacement did the same so they ended up refunding. Too bad, the Duo is a really nice concept for dual EVs.
Grizzl-E Dumb has been rock solid since I killed the smart part. Hard to beat the aluminum hardware if you are mounting outside.
I also have an Emporia and like it better for the power tracking and easy power setting in the app. I generally charge slower daily and dial it up only when I need a larger charge after a long drive day.
