No is exactly like you said, we cut it, just some work on heat circuit.

I've always wanted to try a yoke steering wheel, but to me I don't think they make much sense if its not steer-by-wire.

I don't know that "by wire" is crucial, but you'd want a much lower steering ratio than we have in the Mach-E. Putting a U-shaped yoke in a car that is 2.6 turns lock-to-lock just seems like asking for trouble.

Its nice, but I use the top part of the wheel, can you chop off the bottom too and chop less of the top and add faux paddle shifters. For doing 3 point turns/U turns it may be hard if there is nothing above the thumb area.
