Your expectations are too large.
Small and large are relative comparison. Just ask my wife. People consider the MachE small. The majority of US drivers only take their full size truck frame SUV on road, never see dirt, to the grocery store and work and rarely have more than two people in it without any cargo.

You can add a hitch to most vehicles.

I think Ford blew it when they cancelled the 3 row EV SUV. They made it very likely that our next vehicle is not a Ford.
I know but I dont want to risk having a problem adding a hitch to my mme that Ford says does not support towing. I rather have a manufacturer towing system. In most cars when you get the trailer package it's more than just the hitch you may get different gearing larger cooling system and electrical system.

Nope, No, Never going to happen. Turn the current Explore into an EV and maybe, just maybe.

hybrid offerings in that size
Im not a fan of hybrids, I think the technology is to complex for the benefits a plug in hybrid is better but that depends on the vehicle i think a hybrid with 30 mile range of electric range is useless i think the range extending ice is great for trucks and large vehicles.

THAT’S NOT A REAL EXPLORER!!!! LOL.
Just like the mme is not a real mustang, It just a marketing thing to use a recognized name to get people to buy it because the name. Instead of calling it a explorer they should have called it escape due to it being closer in size, but the name escape does not have the history of the Ford Explorer.

I’ll save you some time. It’s basically an ID4 and is for Europe only.
…….and they put the electric engine under the bonnet so taking up the froot space.

Considered replacing my 104,000 mile Stang with either one of these, the new Capri or a near as possible like for like to my ‘21 Stang but Capri is also the ID 10 T design also uses up froot space?

And Stang specs are missing certain features my RWD ER Premium has so sticking with what I have.

I had the original Edge. It’s the perfect size for me - just roomy enough and high enough without being too big. Subsequent to that and pre-MME, I had a BMW X6 which was that same Goldilocks size for me - just right. Still looking for that in an EV. The MME is just a little small for my size. It’s serviceable but I’d prefer something just a bit larger.

I ended up with the mme, cause it was in in the price range i wanted to pay and I thought it was a good looking car when you compare it to the super plain tesla.

I agree with you on both counts. Good price and good looks.

I ended up with the MME because it was the best advertised range at the time for an SUV when I ordered Feb ‘20 ( arrived June ‘21) and what a choice that was?
