Ford Email - Software Updates. Anyone else get this?

I am still Stuck with "Failed" at 1.7.1 since early December. I hope it means that something is coming to fix that or it is a cruel joke. It could mean BC coming soon too.

I received this letter today and there was an update on the car. As usual, there was no information on what was installed.

Yes those will be inhibit updates, we’ve known this for a while, I’m betting 30 minutes is VERY pessimistic.

Yes just got one, only had the car a week so do i assume an update may be coming?

I have my updates set for 01:00 but sometimes I’m on call and may have to drive emergently back to the hospital. The way I am reading this I should turn off all scheduled updates or I could be locked out if I got a call at one in the morning.

Well I hope this email means I might actually get an OTA. At this point I'd take a fake OTA just to prove that it works and they can actually send me one. geeze, what a let down of a feature...

I'm still at 1.4. My wife is stuck on a failed 1.7 now after 3 attempts.

I just got it. I have a job 2 car with no bluecruise. I doubt I get any updates for a long time or at least until job 1 cars are caught up

How can one tell if they have a job 1 or 2 car?

This along with messages today about pre-condition your car in in the winter. popped up in the Ford Pass app.

got it and 20 minutes later another message said update successful
ford blue cruise map in your vehicle has been updates

Job 2 GTPE. I got the email today. One day after I received the blue cruise update. ?‍ It was my first update ever. So I’m glad to know it works.

How can one tell if they have a job 1 or 2 car?

I believe any car built before June 2021 is a Job 1 car.
