Based on my experience, a couple areas I think Ford can improve are:
Navigation integration with Fordpass charging function: by that I mean the native navigation has been great to locate charging stations. Why not allow for activation of a charger unit from the center screen rather than having to find it on the FordPass in order to activate? I have had instances where I had a hard time finding a charger on fordpass after I got there. Fortunately most times I am using EA.
Plug and Charge: this could be almost achieved by the first bullet. FordPass already allows activation by selecting the charging unit. If you could do that from the navigation when you arrive at a charger, then you just get out of your car and start charging. This would in effect be similar to P&G.
I am interested in hearing what the software development limitations would be from software professionals. I see it working in silo but integrating features don’t seem like an impossible task.
