That’s actually a CSP, not a recall. Not that it really matters.
The old saying if it does not go that is one thing but if it does not stop that is another applies since if the brakes are locked on you are going nowhere and hence safe. I would think anything that keeps the vehicle mobile is a good thing to get. Naming it a costumer satisfaction program really does not hit the mark on that one. It came hardcopy in the mail here first CSP to do that. Something that you really should get done was my take.

I felt kinda lied to buying a 'Blue Certified Ford MachE' and finding out two days later that It has open 'Recalls' (I'm just gonna call it that) and that it's an old Software Version of 3.5.3

You would expect everything to be on the latest version before they sell it... but they want to make up for it and I'm ok with that... otherwise I will contact Ford and leave them a bad review.

FDRS is back up now.
Got mine going in tomorrow for 10,000 mile checkup, was just about to email dealership to ask if FDRS was up or not. Good to know!

So when I realized there was a problem with session history. I submitted a trouble ticket in the system (SPEC) using the built-in report a problem system, and included a screenshot showing the issue.

It was after that problem report submission that I found out from others on this forum and the ICE F-150 forum that FDRS was down worldwide for this problem.

So in my email this morning I get this response:

"Thank you for your recent request to update our Service Publication. We have reviewed your submission regarding the following item: 2023 Mustang Mach-E, FDRS.

Below is the concern information you provided:
Vehicle History returns "Unathorized and invalid token" when trying to view session history (Tried to review the session history for my two VINs and got the attached screen. I have refreshed the FDRS files as well as the vehicle files.)

Your concern was closed for the following reason:
Michael - We value your feedback, (screenshots and files) to help improve FDRS Functionality. The issue stated in your case was not reproducible on The tool. To optimize performance, ensure The PC is not running in a Power Saving mode, a strong WiFi connection is available and The VCI/FDRS software is at The latest level. Before reinstalling FDRS, we recommend running The Refresh FDRS files under The Fix a problem tool under The Report a problem envelope button. We strongly recommend selecting The Remove User Data option to Remove all cache Data when updating FDRS to ensure a clean download and installation of applications.

Thank you again for taking the time to submit this concern. If you have any questions or further information related to your concern, please contact me directly at the email address below.

Regards,
Coordinator, Report a Problem
"

Whatever.

It was a system-wide problem and partial outage...but I'm the one who must have imagined the whole thing.

Still the case?
No, no it's working fine now. Whatever the server issue was it seems to be fixed. I was just a bit annoyed at what seemed to be a patronizing email response.

I think they're hedging their bets. I suspect that they haven't really tried using FDRS this morning and they want a day to figure out if it's really back working again.

Exactly my thoughts.... well I give them a chance on the 18th - It's not the closest Ford Dealer so I might move to the once closest to my address ?

Confirmed here dealer back up and running. Asked them to please plug it in quick and finish it off before it crashes again.

I wonder if that harness could just be unplugged. (with the EPB off) I think you can get to it without taking the tire off.

Mine is still sitting at the same spot in their lot that it was moved to yesterday about this time. Sent an error message to Fordpass when they moved it there The powertrain control system has detected improper wake-up of powertrain modules moved after they changed the HVBJB and before plugging it in. Hoping that can be corrected and it will be done sometime today. Would have been better if they could have just finished it yesterday but again not their fault.

Edit: Just went back in the garage its map to google map is gr8 for tracking it.
