Ford (FDRS) Software down? Nationwide Problems?

All,

I have my Mach-E scheduled for Service tomorrow and I just got informed by my Dealership that t he FDRS system is down or has problems to connect to the server.
They will call me back after 3pm today if they can get it back up / connect otherwise they would reschedule me for another day!

Whatever 'Recall' Part they wanted to replace can not be performed as well as they need the FDRS to program the part.

Let's see.. was kinda suprised to hear that one day prior my 'due date' to get me out being stuck at 3.5.3

Unfortunately, the FDRS servers go down from time to time. Ford’s regularly scheduled maintenance normally happens on Sundays, so hobbyists who have FDRS rigs are more impacted than shops or service departments are by those. If this is an unscheduled outage, I hope they get it fixed quickly and your dealer can get you into their service department soon. ??

I was running a series of updates yesterday evening. When I got to the TCU, I received another "GetConfigDataFromGIVIS" server error. Any chance this is related? It was at 10:30pm so I am assuming I'm having a different issue.

My Mach-E went in yesterday to have its center screen computer replaced (it just stopped working a few days after I took the car home - it perpetually freezes during the starting animation and won't go any further even if I restart the screen). The technician reported in the afternoon that they'd have to keep it an extra day because of an FDRS outage, but that "they usually have it back up and running within 24 hours."

This morning I got a call from the BEV Team to inform me it's likely going to be SEVERAL DAYS before FDRS is working again, so my car will remain in the shop even longer. ?

After reading this I called as my car was out of the garage and sitting in the lot at 10AM this morning. Was told my HVJB is install all parts back together now just waiting for the Ford FDRS to come on line to program it. Was informed it has been off line all day with no ETA on their side when it will be back up. Really do not want to hear the several days. Was beating @HuntingPudel timeline but not no more I need to buy a rabbits foot or something with this car. Had a required trip planned Saturday that I was thinking no problems but now wondering if I need to make an alternate plan? Does anybody in the know know if we are looking at several days?

Bummer! Especially the Screen! on a 23 Model

Well I can log in to FDRS fine...and see available updates. What isn't working is reviewing session history for work that's been done. If I try to view a previous session history on a VIN I get this:

I don't know that the rest of FDRS is also not really working, but I can certainly pull up a list of available updates and see software revision versions on any VIN.

Apparently, actually pushing updates to modules also isn't working.

The dealership just came back to me saying that they still couldn't connect - so I'm gonna re-schedule

Great timing. Just dropped mine off this morning because my updates were blocked due to a failed update earlier this year. Haven't checked with dealer as I don't need it urgently, just prefer to drive it instead of our Highlander.

That’s actually a CSP, not a recall. Not that it really matters.
