Ford Navigation Deciding Where I am Going

Today, my Ford Navigation, unprompted, determined a destination for my 2023 Mach e premium that was nowhere close to where I was actually going (!) The spoken direction persisted, even after I had made several turns towards my home, in the opposite direction. The same thing happened a couple of weeks ago. Has anybody else had this problem? Is there an easy fix?

It is an easy fix, I just can't remember the specifics and I can't come up with a search term to help....

What I do remember is that it is a setting in the Ford navigation that is something like "predictive destination" or a similar term. That needs to be turned off.

Open the nav app. In the settings there is user data or something similar. Turn off predicted destination or something similar.

It might be the Apple Maps predicting where you are going. This can be turned off from your phone.

I couldn't find "Predictive destinations" in my settings. Rather, I could only find "Destination Settings" - see screenshot.

I toggled this off, and then the "Turn Off Destination Suggestions" window came up. Did I find the right setting?

There’s also this in “Navigation tools,” “settings,” “notifications” - Destination Suggestions. Turn that off too.

I've had this happen a couple of times to me as well. Thanks for the advice; I'll try turning off the predictive destination feature.

no this happens to me too, and it's not siri's voice, it's the ford computer's voice.

it must be the predictive destination feature; i'm going to look for that and turn it off too.

Guess I will have to do the same, I've had some phantom navigation randomly start as well.

Anyone know how to turn off the suggestions in Google Maps on AA? So tired of the dropdown list of recent destinations blocking part of the map.

This is correct, but it turns itself back on every so often. I left a feedback voicemail to fix it. Everyone should do the same. It's pretty annoying.
