Since you live so close, why don't you get a job there, work your way into an influential position and then fix the culture of the giant corporation. It'd be great, since you "get it" and none of the upper mgmt does according to you.Spoken like someone that has a PhD in Ford relations lol.
I’ve said it before but I’ll mention it again. I live in Ford country. I’m about 5 or 6 miles from corporate headquarters. My neighbors work at Ford and the majority of the vehicles in my neighborhood are Ford vehicles. There are some awesome people that work at Ford and people that really care about what’s being made. Unfortunately the “bean counters” are in control and it’s more important to shareholders to sell vehicles than service vehicles from current customers.
It's clear you've never worked big corporate or tried to change the culture of an organization. That said, dreams are good to have. Enjoy.
