Spoken like someone that has a PhD in Ford relations lol.

I’ve said it before but I’ll mention it again. I live in Ford country. I’m about 5 or 6 miles from corporate headquarters. My neighbors work at Ford and the majority of the vehicles in my neighborhood are Ford vehicles. There are some awesome people that work at Ford and people that really care about what’s being made. Unfortunately the “bean counters” are in control and it’s more important to shareholders to sell vehicles than service vehicles from current customers.
Since you live so close, why don't you get a job there, work your way into an influential position and then fix the culture of the giant corporation. It'd be great, since you "get it" and none of the upper mgmt does according to you.

It's clear you've never worked big corporate or tried to change the culture of an organization. That said, dreams are good to have. Enjoy.

I'm sorry to hear about the OP's negative experience with that dealership. I must say that my experiences with my dealership have been great. Also Ford has been very good about correcting problems . The work they did in getting access to the Tesla charging network and the gifting of adapters is amazing.
I love my Mach E. Mine has been trouble free and IMO is one of the best cars I've ever experienced in 50+ years of driving.

I haven't talked to or been at the dealer since we bought the car a year ago.
I serviced my car at 10,000 miles. I did call fordpass to notify them of bugs with the new app.

We all have different experiences. If you are dissatisfied then choose another product. That is the only real message any business really listens to. As for myself 22GT, 2 years, zero issues, recall work smooth, two checkups and that from a dealer that opted out of Model e. So no complaints (other than I wish they opted in!)

Great and good for you guys. Where do you live so I can have that great experience? Did you have recalls repaired at these dealers? Have you had do deal with service or just the sales part. The purchase of my vehicles has always been fantastic.

Really? What assumptions did I make. I asked people who were unhappy to tell about it publicly and to tell Ford.

Sounds like you read into my post too much and placed your assumptions. If you are happy with your vehicle that’s great. Other than this minor issue, I love my MachE. Ford’s responses to me is what set me off.

Amen. It’s my fault for buying a Ford. Free will right. Here’s hoping you always get everything you want in life and nothing negative ever happens to you…especially with your purchase choices.

My major complaint about my car has been voiced ad museum by myself and a lot of other GT/GT-PE owners since @0t60-3.5 took the first world-wide delivery of a GT-PE. Ford has reportedly addressed this finally in the 2024 model. There is no indication that this will be remedied for existing customers who purchased their cars under the impression that the car’s purported performance numbers were indicative of its actual capability. ??

My other issue was addressed under warranty and I fully expect to blow up another HVBJB or two. Not sure that the current part can handle the throttled performance of my ‘21, much less the ‘24. ??

The last issue I brought up in multiple places and had to do with my warranty service in which the dealer’s SA completely ghosted me. Dealer management knows, Ford Corporate knows, etc. I expect no resolution to the behavior of dealer employees since Ford Corporate has no control over independent dealers and the dealer doesn’t give a hoot. ?‍♂?

To some members on here it was your fault for purchasing a Ford lol.

While I agree we all have responsibilities for what we chose to purchase, I don’t agree that purchase choice is the sum of the equation. Ford has major issues. We know it. They know it. The more we chose to tell the public about things, good or bad, the more it influences their future customers.

Helps if you quote who you are berating in your replies. Otherwise we can only guess what you're talking about.

It appears to me that you are assuming that everyone on the forum has significant complaints about the car in particular and Ford in general... For me, the car has been very good. No failures and overall my favorite of ~30 cars I have owned. The software updates have been slower than I'd like but Ford is showing persistence in addressing this. Perfect? no. Do I post complaints... yes.

I find it generally distasteful when people join a forum and jump into trying to rally complaints.

be careful though...I complained about a minor issue at a dealer (charging me 3% to use my Ford credit card)and now I am finding that I cannot get my car serviced at any dealer in the area. They all say that appts are 60-90 days out and I need a warranty repair...

Ok. I find it annoying when people feel the need to respond when the issue doesn’t affect them. Read my posts again. No assumptions have ever been made. Now maybe it’s your assumptions that need addressing.

Definitely my fault for falling for Ford’s claims that this was a performance car, as it is also the fault of everyone who reserved a 2021 GT in 2019 and 2020 for believing Ford’s claims without a single car having been produced. Post-2021, the cat was out of the bag. The GT should have died as a trim. At least it is supposed to be fixed for 2024. ?‍♂?
