Ford Pass App Not fully populating after update

Mine gave me a heartache. I had been plugged in since 4 and it said I only had 15% jumping up to 35% back down to 15%. I logged out and logged back in and it now says Maintenance mode. Car battery is where it should be.

I just walked up to mine- in the garage- and the door unlocked.

I was planning to remote start charge session from my desk, between meetings, but am getting some extra steps in going to the car itself

Test complete. So PAAK was useful to unlock the door, even though the service is down. Further testing suggests it is bluetooth based. If I turned off bluetooth on my phone, it stopped working and I had to use the door code.

Starting the car did require the pass code.

Better carry the key fob along today...

I was thinking the same thing about an hour ago, but I left the house without my keys and I was able to get to Lowes and back home with no issues.

Yes, pack uses BT. If you turn that off on your phone when in constant proximity to your MME and it won’t constantly wake up.

Mine started w/o passcode, which I expected it too. Every once in a while the car does not recognize my phone and I have to use the passcode.

I know this was not meant to be funny but it is a little. Hopefully, if anyone is standing outside of their MME, they have a door code and passkey to start. And, yes, keep the FOB on you!

I think PAK uses bluetooth, so server status shouldn't matter (though it would for remote functions).

I strongly recommend keeping that pass phrase in a note app on your phone. Simple Notepad can be password or biometrically protected if you are concerned about security.

FordPass is currently experiencing an outage impacting Remote Commands including lock/unlock, remote start requests and Phone as a Key. Our teams are working to resolve this as quickly as possible, however there is no ETA at this time.

My PaaK still seems to be working fine despite the Maintenance Mode message. Thank goodness!
