Ford Pass icons greyed out

When I open Ford Pass the open window, close window, frunk, trunk icons are greyed out. The lock, unlock, start and horn and light icons are operational. The car locks and unlocks automatically when I am in range. Any idea what could be wrong.

it needs to connect via bluetooth for those to work

Those grayed out buttons will only work within bluetooth / PAAK range of the car.
The lock controls and horn/lights can be done remotely over the internet.

That's the Bluetooth connection for audio, which is unrelated. You should have a second Bluetooth connection for PaaK. It's five numbers followed by "MACH E".

How do I go about doing that? No 5 digit number followed by MACH E shows up in Connections

Try rebooting your phone. Once you've done that, make sure your car is locked, then walk up to the car without a fob, and push the door unlock button. Wait a few seconds to see if it says Bluetooth Connected in FordPass. If that doesn't work, your PaaK connection might be hosed somehow and you'll have to set it up again.

You won't always see it listed in BT connections, because FordPass controls that BLE connection directly. Reboot your phone and see if that gets it to connect again. If not, you may need to re-setup PAAK.
