Thanks in advance for reading this, and hopefully someone can help me.
About a week ago, I noticed that Ford Pass was no longer communicating with my vehicle. Well, not entirely. The Climate/Lock/Unlock/Start Charging/etc buttons would not work, although the car was still communicating information about battery charge levels. So I decided to reset the Ford Pass app by uninstalling it, and reinstalling it on my phone... and now it won't even connect. So I have nothing.
Another thing I've noticed is that the traffic info (red/orange/yellow) that typically shows up on busy freeways and streets in the navigation app is not showing up at all. No live traffic info. This makes me think there's some problem with the modem, although I'm not sure.
I took it to the dealer, and at first they said everything was working normally. But then I demonstrated how the app wouldn't connect (the tech even tried to get his own phone to connect and it wouldn't work), and they agreed there was a problem. They're going to get the info to someone at Ford Tech, and hopefully reply soon.
In the meantime, I've read lots of information on the forums. I've disconnected fuses 11, 18/19 and 20/21... to no avail. (BTW, after one of these fuse resets, I now have the "stop safely" warning appearing on the dash. Not sure what that's about; hopefully it goes away) I've reset the Ford Pass Connect and even done a factory reset. Sirius XM still works, as does Blue Cruise.
Any thoughts/suggestions?
