iPhone 16 with Ford Pass 5.5.0 - any issues ?

Since Apple released the iPhone 16 series this week, has anyone had issues with pairing, remote control, Ford Pass app, or Bluetooth issues ?

I just paired my 16 Pro with the Mach E and it was easy.

And my Apple Watch works without any tweaking on the watch end.

All good here too. PAAK setup, backup passcode, entry code, Bluetooth paring, and CarPlay setup all took less than 5 minutes. No issues. Good job Ford.

I just paired my 16 Pro with the Mach E and it was easy.

And my Apple Watch works without any tweaking on the watch end.

I went from the big old 14 Pro Max to just a plain old 16 with 256 for the memory and the only thing that I had to do was actually remove the watch and re-add it from the phone. It just didn’t want to pair properly, but everything other than that works fine. I haven’t had any issues.

I replied one time this week saying that I had no problems with the new 16 iPhone. But I’ve got a challenge for you. I just noticed this in my car. I started a car cause I wanted to do something out in it, and there was a kid in the street with a bicycle acting very strange with a heavy backpack, laying it on the ground and then he couldn’t pick it up and then it was just weird. I wanted to take a video of it, but while the car was running, the video camera came up, but it looked like it was taking snapshots it kept jerking, but it wasn’t recording at all. When you clicked to record, the button would shut back off automatically. Nothing would record not even a snapshot through the video, it looked like it was taking a snapshot in the video mode. Anyways, I shut the car off and stayed inside and roll the window down figured maybe the window was the problem, but I still could not take a video at all. At this point the radio was still on after I shut the car off as it normally does and I open the door and I’m able to take a video! so I got back inside the car started it I could not take a video again. It just kept that jerking and turning the button on it would turn off automatically so I got out of the car shut it off. I was able to take a video so it’s like when the car is running and you’re trying to take a video from inside the car you can’t do it even with the window down I was able to replicate it three times. Tell me if you’ve noticed that I even shut FordPass down and it did not help and it also said there was no key detected until I open FordPass up again strange. And I went through all the settings on the iPhone and changed them and changed them back. It was weird just sitting while car was running would notvideo.

Just tested this out. I can take videos at any time while in the car and the car is off, on, running, in park, in drive and connected to CarPlay or not. PAAK is enabled.

Sounds good. I’ve just got the plane iPhone 16. I’ll have to check this out again. I don’t know why I would do that if it’s just a Bluetooth connection issue heck I don’t know.
