Tried uninst clearing cache reboot. nothing changes on the app. Car is parked app says it’s running. Battery level is not correct. Looks like it’s hung even after uninstall and reboot reinstall.

it was mentioned earlier but basically the old app was using old tech under the hood that made it challenging, if not impossible, to add new features and maintain it well.

The new app uses newer SW technologies and architectures which will make maintaining it much easier. However this comes at the cost of needed to get features working on the new app.

Edit: have you checked under the service tab? There might be some useful info there…

Interesting I have the old app on my iPad and will not refresh update. Both iPhon and iPad are stuck with same information and will not update or allow my to change anything

The ford pass has an V5 and really modern and smooth. Lot of promise.

One thing I really don't like is that my car's location and other data will be shared with Google. I turned this on briefly to see how it works, but would now like to turn it off. How do I do that?

@Ford Motor Company Please make it so we can use the location feature again without sharing information with Google.

I have same issue and even in old app on different device it will not refresh. Clear battery level is wrong and it not running

Some bug fixes to address: @Ford Motor Company
These 2 pics were taken 5 seconds apart. and this was after rebooting my phone and the display in the car.
1. The charge finish time inside the car is very different from what the app is showing. I have a departure time set for 3:30, it appears to be what the app is showing for charge finish time
2. The start charging time inside the car is showing the clock time. I plugged in the car around 8:27
3. The energy added is not working

watchOS Notes

I'm very glad to see that the watch app got some work done! Honestly I worry each major update that it will be discontinued as it's how I primarily turn on my car.

I currently have the Ford app as a complication to my Modular watch face. This allows me to have a shortcut right on my screen.

At first I was worried that it will always go to the battery level first, but I think it stays on the last screen you select. Or it may only keep view only while in-memory. Have to see how it performs the next few days. It is annoying to have to enter the app, THEN digital crown scroll, then hit the climate button.

Feature Request: Support Double Tap Gestures
When I'm on the start-the-car screen, support Double Tap. I assure you, there's not going to be accidental car starts if Double Tap was supported.

Feature Request: Battery Level Complication
Now that the battery level is communicated to the watch, I would like the option for a complication to display the power level. In my first screenshot, you'll see I have activity, AQI, and local temp on the bottom of the screen. See the complication for battery for a full circle power bar with percentage number in the middle.

I would love the option to select between the F icon and battery level display. Just as Google Maps has two different complications below [Watch app -> Select a Face -> Complications].

I see the following type of options based on what's now referenced in the Watch app:

• FordPass [default]
  • The current Ford Modern F logo.
• Battery Percentage
  • Radial dial is battery percentage.
  • Number as battery percentage.
• Battery Milage
  • Radial dial is battery percentage.
  • Number as estimated milage. Display "MI" or "KM" just as "AQI" is displayed in the first screenshot.
