Same thing here. I thought I was losing my mind!

Same issue here. Why would they remove the buttons to open/close windows? Makes no sense. One step forward, two steps back with FordPass, BlueCruise (still problematic in my car & not updated to 1.4 yet). Bored with this.

Last time I checked, the key fob still lowered the windows with a double press. Presuming it still does so, problem solved.
What button on the fob do you press twice to open the window, I only have a liftgate button and lock unlockbutton.

The windows down is activated by a double press on the unlock button. Windows close is a double press on the lock button. I just went in the garage and rudely awakened the car to make sure I was correct. It is in the manual somewhere. (For me, finding pretty much anything in the manual is like looking for a needle in a haystack.). It may also be discussed in the “quick start “ booklet that comes with the car. Although I just opened and closed the windows with the fob, I’ve managed to forget whether the second press is “press and hold” or “press and release” …. now if I can just remember my name …. at least I remembered to walk Pebbles the ?, although that’s probably because she reminded me ….?

For those of you in the US celebrating the Labor Day holiday, enjoy, and stay safe. And if you’re in another country also celebrating a holiday today, enjoy and stay safe! And maybe we can all take a holiday from whining about the Mustang Mach E, software glitches, and PAAK. That would be refreshing.

No worries. Out of curiosity I looked in the pdf version of the ‘23 manual and found the window topic on page 119. Curiously, it doesn’t seem to discuss closing them, but it’s the same process except using the lock button. The second press is hold until the windows start to move, then release the button. Enjoy!

Maybe their data shows that I never use that function so it will be taken away from me.

Curious, how does an OTA update to the car and not a FordPass firmware update change the available options shown on the app?

Is it because the OTA made the car communicate to FP app that a function is no longer available and the app removed said function?

Not a major hardship
Not a hardship, but an inconvenience.

While I agree, carrying a fob isn't the end of the world, the whole reason for PaaK is so that we don't have to carry a fob. Many of us have become accustomed to not carrying a fob and now we have to if we want the window function.

This seems like an unintended glitch specific to a recent OTA and will likely get fixed, hopefully sometime soon.
