Hi Mach-e Friend!

In the European version, you have to press the lane keeping button twice on the steering wheel every time you start, so that it does not turn on automatically, can it be set to be off by default in the Forscan IPC Module configuration?

Currently "Lane Assist" is set to "Lane Keep Support EuroNCAP"

Thank you for your help!
I'll see what I can find out next time I'm hooked up

I recall on a Lincoln I used to own there was a value accessible in Forscan to change how quickly the automatic headlamps came on - I think the European mode had them on immediately in darkness, like a short underpass, whereas by default they would take several seconds to come on. I cannot locate that in the spreadsheet - anyone have any luck with that?

isn't this configurable right in the central configuration? or does that do something different?

Do you mean on the center screen vehicle settings? I haven't seen that option - only auto lamp delay, i.e.. how long lights stay on after car is off.

Googling around a bit, it might be 726-11-05 in the BCM. But, there are 6 config options and I dont know what they are.

i don't mess w/ the As Built view in Forscan, so if it's not in the "human readable" view then it's invisible to me ;)

Oto co zrobiłem dzisiaj. Niektóre widziałem jako nowe opcje/zmiany, inne nie

Hey, I can't figure out how to turn off the sound signal when reversing. Can you tell me what to change in the settings?

I would also like to activate the Silent mode in APIM, can this be done in every Mach-e?

I have the GT 2023 US version reprogrammed to EU

You can't "turn off" the backup beeping in FORScan. You can replace he speaker with a 4 ohm resister so that the system thinks the speaker is still in the circuit. Just disconnecting the speaker will give you a permanent "Pedestrian Alert System Malfunction" warning on the driver's display.

If these are your settings, could you post some photos or describe the enabled function, for example:
- Comfort Pet in APIM
- Echo Coach in APIM
- Sentinel in APIM
- Rear camera auto zoom in IPC
Thanks

Thanks, I won't look any further :) It's a pity that there has to be that reversing gong, you can't drive away in silence.

Has anyone used Forscan to set up reverse tilt? Do you have to press any buttons to get them to tilt or will they automatically tilt as soon as the car goes into reverse.
I saw a post somewhere for an expedition where the driver still had to press a button, on an old BMW I had they would tilt automatically which I prefer. Thanks all

The workaround is to set the mirrors to your desired tilt position and store it to button 3 (or any preset you don’t otherwise use). When you want to back up, just press 3.

Yes you have to have the the mirror adjustment button pressed (lit up) for whichever mirror you want to tilt. Then that mirror will tilt when you reverse. That's how all tilt-on-reverse mirrors I've ever used work. Has been working great on my MME since I set it up a while ago. I don't know why Ford doesn't enable this stuff from the factory.

Interesting. Thanks for responding. In my BMW it was automatic and I didn't have to press any buttons. Going into reverse it lowered the mirror, coming out of reverse it returned the mirror to the saved 'driving' position.

Agree, this should be an option that is more easily enabled like in the display/settings.
Thanks so much
