Hi Everyone, I just signed up for the Florida Power & Light (FPL) Evolution home charger program for the install only option and wanted to ask if anyone else in the FPL service area has experience with this program. The tech just installed the charger last Friday and it bumped up my level 2 home charger from 30 amps to 48 amps. Nice charger, seem like it will last a while.

Thanks for any input on this program. Below is the link for your reference.

Looks like a good deal. Just make sure you don't install anything or enter your vehicle login information in any app or website they provide. Most of those use the SmartCar system to interrogate your Mach E and you will be locked out of your FordPass app and all of your Ford accounts:

I paid under $1000 for a 50 amp plug to charge my 2021 MMEx. No issues with this 2 years into.

They are charging $7 x 120 months = $840 for the install. Not unreasonable.

They are charging $31 x 120 = $3,720 for the charger and 10 years of free charging. Make it easy math and assume $720 for the charger, so $300 a year buys you totally free charging. That's $5.77 a week. Assuming 10 cents a kWh, that's 58kW a week. We use less than that but have no commute. And, you can only charge one vehicle.
