Free BlueCruise renewal?

yeh my 23 got this offer and i took it. my 24 does not have this option, unfortunately. the 23 will go back to ford before BC would have expired in the first place (car was bought in dec 22 but they added 3 months to the 3-year period that came with the car for some reason)

Got my free year after it expired a couple weeks ago.

Just hope it doesn't autobill me for $450 once it's up. I'll have to keep an eye on that.

I got an email from a BlueCruise rep as my 3 month free subscription is coming to an end. I inquired about a free subscription, said he couldn't help me on that. He did give me the award points I was missing for leasing my new MME, so I used part of those for a 1 month subscription.

I have 21 and have paid for the $600 3 year extenstion. Sitll on 1.0 BC. My options only show a 1 year extenstion for $250. I do not have a free 1 year extenstion option.

I ended up trading my 21 premium for a 23 GTPE last March after the price drops and after I had paid the $600 3 yr sub fee. Took a fight over a few months, but I ended up getting the full $600 back through my credit card company. Ford tried to pushed back but I told Visa that I had paid for the subscription thinking the 21 would get an OTA for 1.3. That seemed to be what got my money refunded, buying a service that they hadn't delivered. I'd call Ford Connected Services if I were you and see what they can do, you never know!

well shit, glad I read this thread! My 23 came with 3 years free. I just checked the BlueCruise plans on my connected services and had a 0$ option starting Feb 2027. Took it and now have free BlueCruise til Feb 2028. It was just an option under plans. Nice!

I selected the free option, and it went through, but my expiration date never changes. Still says 11/29/25, should be 11/29/26 after selecting the $0 extension. Never got an email confirmation either, and now the option is gone. Very strange and frustrating.

Edit: Just read the page a little more carefully. It shows $0 yearly on my "Next Payment Date". Maybe it did take. We'll wait and see...

Same here! Received my MME Premium on December 30. Even though we have Blue Cruise indicated Interstates nearby, I've never been able to get BC to work. Only have blue front bubble and green side bubble on the display, even when on a BC designated Interstate. My BC expires at the end of March. They want $495 annual or $50 a month to subscribe to a feature that I can't even figure out how to use!

Got a notification that my Bluecruise 90 day trial is active. I was a little annoyed by this. I don't have a 90 day trial. I got a 2023 with Bluecruise and no mention of any trial, 90 days, 3 years or any length. My expection is that my BC will not expire ever. That is how it was sold to me. I did however go through the prompts and was offered a year like the screen shots above. Connected services now says I will renew in 03/27 (after 3 years) for 12 months for $0. The 3 year or any expiration is wrong and I will fight it if I still have the car then.
