Anyone know why they cycle when you first plug in?

Today they cycled twice because they were iced over, I wonder if they get stuck will the MME not charge?

My guess was that they cycle to ensure they're working. Perhaps if they did get stuck, it wouldn't allow you to charge. Not something I'm willing to test though....

I doubt it wouldn't charge if frozen, it's for cooling during charging and warm battery....these 2 (frost and warm) won't happen at the same time?

My CMax also does it when you turn it on. Just a test. It has the same thing but behind the grill.

Loaner, mine is still at the dealer, GM says it could be till Friday. "Insert sad face here"

I can say I am very lucky for the loaner, I am sure I am one of very few. Far less negative stories as of late, which is great to hear. Maybe great delivers are taking place.

Car did charge.
