Frunk function question

Hi

I tried looking in the threads about this but can't find the answer to my question.

I see a lot of folks who seems to be able to open their frunk either in the car via the frunk button or on the fordpass application.

Anyone aware if all mach-e builds now have access to this ? At this time I now see the frunk button in the car but it does not work and I still don't have the frunk button in the fordpass app.

Does this require a specific update? from what I now I have 2.1 installed and my car was built january 2021 (Premium AWD 68KW)

Job 1 cars, which your is, do not currently have the ability to open the Frunk in any manner other than manually. Job 1 cars may receive that update at some point in the future.

Job 2 (Roughly July 2021 on) have both the FordPass button and the button in the access part of the sync screen.

It is not available at this time, for Job 1 cars. Period

The update is not available to Job 1 cars at all at this point. We have no idea when it will become available.

It's just a software update that will enable it. They had to disable it due to a regulatory issue at launch that was resolved for Job 2 cars.

I think issues with OTA's pushed back the schedule to release the update for the frunk as they put all resources on getting that working.
