Do you agree with the improvements I have listed (including the bonus wishlist)?

2014 Chevy Volt. Future Mach-E Rally owner?
Unsure if there is a thread out there in regards to improvements that current/future Mach-E owners would like to see for future Mach-E model years (specifically for the 2nd generation, anticipated in 2027).
It seems that @Ford Motor Company also checks out forums as a place for feedback on improvements they make on each Mach-E iteration, so this is the place for that discussion.
As we all know by now, the 2025 MY will bring improvements such as heat pump, ventilated seats, sport appearance package, BlueCruise 1.5, etc.
I myself am waiting to get a Mach-E Rally in the future.

Improvements/additions/wishlist I'd like to see on future Mach-E's are listed below (definitely would like to see these improvements by the 2nd generation on a Rally trim):
  1. Adjustable suspension for dirt or track use.
  2. Allow front & rear torque distribution adjustments.
  3. Heads up display or HUD.
  4. Heated steering wheel.
  5. Improved efficiency and range (maybe solid state batteries by 2027?).
  6. Improved motors (no overheating on demanding rides and more power).
  7. 800V or higher vehicle architecture.
  8. J3400/NACS plug (thought this would've made it by MY 2025).
  9. Improved BlueCruise and software (this was a given).
BONUS wish list (for Rally trim, since this is how I would spec my Mach-E):
  1. Unique colors/liveries for Rally trim (I like the racing stripes).
  2. Unique interior (such as sporty steering wheel, sporty seats, etc).
  3. Addition of a track mode & improved rally mode.
  4. Simulation shift mode and legacy Ford performance vehicle sounds to make driving more engaging for us enthusiasts?
I know this is a large ask as a consumer, but I'd like to see the Mach-E Rally be competitive to the Ioniq 5 N (or TRX, if there ends up being a performance version of it), as these vehicles provide the EV/car enthusiast the best of all worlds.
As a side note, some of these improvements could also be made on other trim levels, as I know others would like to see improvements as well on the Mach-E overall.
I maybe missing some other improvements we all would like to see, but hopefully this thread will make the already great Mach-E even better with each passing year.
What would improvements would y'all like to see on future Mach-E's?

I'd like to see adjustable headrest. Also chilled seats for GT and Rally. Don't see much point in HUD.

My personal future MME wishlist for @FordMotorCompany:

-Sentry mode
-Bigger LVB that's more accessible
-More customization options for the IPC
-More native vehicle data access
-Cleaner, more consistent OTA updates
-Physical buttons for the HVAC
-Rear outboard heated seats
-Actual exterior door handles (I'm even ok with the flush, pop-out variety)
-More interior material finish options and color combos

Other things like faster changing and more range should come automatically with evolving tech. I do agree, however, that Ford seems to be a bit behind the curve in this area.

All I want is for me to be able to create one of those 100,000 mile threads in the future with the same comment others have. Similar to "car has basically been trouble free and is the best car I have ever owned".

It's certainly giving off those kinds of vibes so far. And I'm sure that some percentage of the wishlist in a thread like this will have come true by then and maybe the 2030 Mach-E will be a worthy option for the time?

As I've stated on other threads but worth restating: A joystick transmission control that can shift easily into regen mode, i.e. one pedal mode, rather than the current method of navigating the screen menu. In lieu of a joystick transmission control, at least place the regen/one pedal mode button on the main screen so it can be toggled on/off easily.

The much larger issue: Ford's ergonomic and human interface engineers should evaluate ALL the performance features that should be main-screen and one-touch. Some already exist, e.g. heated seat level, fan level. I think the flow-through vent button should be on the main screen this way. My wife navigates to the flow through button hundreds of times a day - literally - closing it to prevent dust, diesel fumes, etc. from entering the cabin. The auto climate setting changes it from closed to open. It should remain in the state last manually set, either open or closed.

How many of these features wish lists do we need? Maybe we can have a separate subforum for these?

They need to completely redo their vehicle electrical architecture built around zonal ECUs, designed and built in-house and running their own software. Bonus points if they make the switch to 48 volt to save wiring weight too.

Its the only way they will be able to turn the OTA process from the clusterf*ck it is today into anything close to as good as Tesla, Rivian, and others are doing it.

"Tesla, Rivian, and others..." What "others"?

Ford's OTAs are actually pretty good in comparison to most other automakers NONEXISTANT ones.

I just read rear heated seats. I’d like to add ventilated seats front and rear (rear heated)

The front seats will be ventilated in 2025 per Ford's announcement last week.
