At my old house I had an issue where the door opener wouldnāt work when it was sunny out. Couldnāt figure it out for the life of me.You are talking about wireless devices. There are an ABUNDENT of factors that can result in the transmission or receiving of the transmitter to be extraordinary good or extraordinary crappy. Manufacture of the garage opener would be the biggest factor and how they designed the receiver, or even the age of the garage opener. Another major factor is if you have any RFI or Radio Frequency Interference around your home. Powerlines are known to cause all type of RFI issues with lower power transmitters. You would be amazed at how much RFI there is around your home. I used to have a Cox cable box that would blast out all types of noise. You easily find out if you play HF radio at all
End of the day, almost everyone is going to have a difference experience.
Finally found the issue:
I had installed solar powered attic fans.
When they ran (sunny out) it created interference. A combination of ferrite magnets on the attic fan wires and a special remote (canāt remember what it is, but it was the same that people use near airports) did the trick.
