Might look into the remote ones if you still want light to come on when the door opens.
Or just switch back to a non-LED bulb.

Since I have multiple liftmaster garage door openers, I figured I'd chime in. I have 3 for my shop as the north and south ends have large bay doors with jack shaft openers. My west door has a conventional garage door opener that is chain driven. I've noticed that my Mach-E has to be MUCH closer to the doors for the visor buttons to open the doors. My 2018 Mustang could open all 3 doors once I was about 100 feet away. I need to be basically parked in front of the doors to open them with my Mach-E. I know the units have antennas on them. I've been thinking of experimenting with the antenna wire to see if I can extend the range of the openers by running the wire outside of my shop through vents near the roof. My previous Mustang didn't have any issues but the building is all metal so that may be contributing to the poor range. Probably not but I won't know for sure until I mess with it!

I put this in another thread. Can’t speak for the side buttons but:

Put a new battery in your remote to program Homelink as it will copy signal strength. Training the Homelink requires more power from the transmitter. A new battery will help homelink pickup a better signal and increased range.

I did this on my 24 and the range for me is easily 8 houses away with the center button anyway.

I have two transmitter decals in the correct location. Neither of them work well. My previous car would open the condo door from 30-40 feet away, now I need to be within 8 feet - window spot to door transmitter, in practice 20 inches from the door. My Washington State one was not reading, but the State can tie my license plate number to the decal number. The approved placing still blocks much of the signal.

Is this a thing? I've been annoyed by programming garage openers for a long time and I've never heard or read anything that suggests signal strength is copied. I'm not saying you're wrong. But if you're right, that's definitely one of those ? moments for me.

It’s literally from the Homelink website.
I've gone over that site but I must have read through the tips too quickly. While it doesn't specifically SAY it "copies signal strength", it does infer that by saying "increases the range". How else could a new battery on a completely separate device increase the range of your homelink remote? Reading comprehension is an underrated skill these days. I appreciate the degree of hand-holding and patience you've offered to explain that. I'll have to try that and report back!
