Getting my 22B10 additional key fob

So, how do I actually get them to ORDER it?

They order it. It sits on backorder until it's available, and then it arrives.

Does anyone know how to find the part number for the MME FOB? I may just call the parts desk at my dealer and have them (back) order it directly. And then when it comes in, I can book the service appointment to program it.

I just got one yesterday from my dealer - they had it in stock.

There are two part numbers - one for the FOB and one for the switch blade key (emergency key insert) - you need both.
parts 164R8311 and 164R8319

edit - just occurred to me that this might not be the "official" Mach-e key - the dealer may have used a FOB from an ICE mustang. It has a pony on it that looks a little different from the pony on my original FOB. But other than the pony it is identical and works fine with my Mach-e.

Interesting... I thought the Mach-E official FOB *was* from an ICE mustang, which is why it has the useless key blade insert. I am really just picking mine up so that it can go with the car when its time for resale, not 100% matching is no big deal.

This thread had me go look at mine. Just got the second fob a month ago. It was back ordered and took maybe two days to get in.

Sure enough, my original FOB has a chrome pony. The second FOB has the black pony, with a bit different design. The black one has the horizontal lines within the pony, like the puddle lights. It is p/n JRT3-15K601-FB. I am like 95% sure the chrome one is the original...

Early builds came with a chrome pony fob. At some point, they switched to the black pony.

As I suspected, the parts guys had one on hand, so now I have to wait for my service appointment.

When I call the service department, the least they could do is actually see if the parts department has one.
