Walk up to car, it detects my PAAK and allows me to open the door. Sit down and press the start button and "No Key Detected".

Headlights always on Auto, car randomly decides to take them off Auto and just leave the lights on.

Randomly refusing to connect to wireless CarPlay and makes me manually pick my phone and connect.

There is no single-touch button to activate the cameras to assist in parking. Super annoying since I have had this feature on my Ford trucks since 2011.

I stomp on the accelerator and enjoy blistering 0-60 acceleration, then 5 seconds later the car decides it needs to be my mom...

These are all minor annoyances and I still love the car!
Glad I’m not the only one!

A few items, and I hope that Ford is listening:

1) The user manual / documentation needs a lot of work. Illustrations of the various screen displays for the driving modes would be very helpful.

2) It appears that you cannot save a HD FM radio station in anything other than its HD 1 configuration. I would like to be able to save the HD 2 configuration as well as the HD 1 configuration as two different presets. (this also applies to those stations that have an HD3 and HD4 option available)

3) Occasionally, the radio will not turn on simply by tapping the icon in the middle of the volume knob. I also have to hit the "resume" button on the radio tile in order to turn on the radio.

4) Seat position restoration on starting the car is iffy if I am really pressing on the brake pedal. In these cases, it seems like the seat position motors don't want to work against the rigidity of my leg!

5) Current GPS position sometimes is really off base by a mile or more with no indication that the car could not get an accurate fix on the current position. When messed up like this, the tracking of direction and speed remains accurate, but current position displayed is still innacurate. If this happens when a route is programmed in, the results are quite hilarious, as the car is often recalculating how to get from the current erroneous location to the current real location. If the "imaginary" course of the car intersects the proper current route, sometimes this error condition is resolved automatically. This happened to me late at night along I-84 in Idaho. I shut off the route to get rid of the annoyance.

6) The navigation system is good about letting you know of obstacles and detours in your route as they occur (i.e. on a route that you have selected and are currently travelling.) However, if there is a closure or obstacle in place when you start your route, it will not tell you about this, but it will route you around it correctly. I ran into this on I-84 in eastern Oregon when trying to travel from Pendleton OR to Twin Falls ID. Normally this would be a straight shot, but a wreck on I-84 due to a snow storm caused the routing software to give me a detour route that added 200 miles and 4 additional hours going through John Day OR. It did not explain why, and I had to check the ODOT website tripcheck.com to discover the problem. Beautiful countryside on the detour, but I had to gamble on the only fast charger in John Day working. It did. Was supposed to arrive in Twin Falls at 4pm, arrived at 10:30pm.

Oh where to begin?

Many CarPlay issues. Sometimes it’ll keep dropping out, I think it has something to do with the CarPlay Wi-Fi connection conflicting with the car’s Wi-Fi connection. I’ve also had the map freeze up, I’ve had the instructions from Apple Maps freeze & stay on both the main display & the display behind the steering wheel.

The car sometimes likes to think that the headlights were left on when they‘re never taken out of automatic. This one has happened a few times. I’m definitely not accidentally bumping it as I’m getting in and out, my knee is nowhere near the dash. I think this issue might have something to do with hitting the unlock button on the key fob while it’s dark enough outside (or in a garage) then quickly opening the door. The car itself turns on your headlights then yells at you for leaving them on.

This one was a bizarre one for me. I had CarPlay playing music as I pulled into my work parking lot. I parked, shut the car off, & got out. Went into the office & after a few minutes, came back out. I opened the car door & the radio was playing music. The car was off, but the stereo wasn’t. I even took my phone with me into the office which added to the weirdness. That one took a couple power cycles to get things back to normal.

Gremlins!!! I had the BC update by the Dealer and picked up the car on Wednesday. IT worked great by the way......However, today (Friday Morning) several strange things occured. Saw the message this am on my phone FP that my car had completed it's normal charging session (90%).

1. The car started charging it's self this am about 6:50am. I know as I happen to be standing near the garage door making breakfast. (When I parked at work this am the message screen popped up when I turned the car off, something about a charging conflict. But I opened the door too quickly and didn't really catch the message in it's entirety.

2. After backing up then putting the car into drive the back up camera did not shut off. I had to hit the "X" in the upper right hand corner. This happened twice, once leaving the house and 2nd time backing into parking space at work.

3. The Apple Car Play "Apple Maps" screen shimmed for a few seconds on my way in.

Anyone else experiencing weirdness after the Blue Cruise Update?

Hi there. Can you send us a DM with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into this for you.

Let me give it a day or so. If it keeps happening, I'll DM you. Sometimes electronics just need a reset or a cycle. Thanks for keeping an eye out.

It's only me with the key and the typical scenario is me walking up behind the car after work. I like to put my briefcase in the rear seat behind the driver's, so I approach and try to open the driver's side rear door first. This fails 100% of the time now.

I should add that I've had the car for over 11 months and it did not behave this way until after some OTA last Fall.

Sometimes after attempting the open the rear driver's side door (nothing happens), I open the driver's door and both doors pop open. Sometimes I have to push the driver's door button several times before anything happens.
Received OTA 2.7.2 on Friday and the doors seem to be working well again. Keeping my fingers crossed!

My just received MME fails to recognize which key fob is in the car to auto adjust the seats to the specific user. Today, for the first time, wireless Android Auto and Android Auto via USB failed to work. It said the wireless app projection needed to be enabled. I tried to turn it on but it would actually activate. I could slide the button to the on position but it wouldn't turn blue and would continue to be disabled. Any ideas on a fix? Otherwise, love the car.

No, the car often doesn't reset the distance. The "trip" in question involved driving from one end of a parking lot to the other. It used the energy consumption in that trip aline with the distance traveled in that trip plus the one before.
