Did you ever find fix or a source of this rattle? I opened up my door and it seems like something inside the inner (metal) panel. My hand is too big to fit inside the panel
That wasn't me with a door rattle issue. It was jay1122.

Yay! This thread won’t die! It’s still a serious issue for a lot of folks, it also has drastically diminished the resale value of the Mach-E.

Wouldn’t possibly be the entire used car bubble popping?

It’s not an issue for most folks. Most people don’t even know it’s an issue at all and most of us that do know understand the issue has largely been resolved.

Been resolved? What? Where? When?
How/where do I get mine resolved?

Has it though? Depending on who you ask, the HVJB failures happened to very few cars, less than 1 percent.

However, that really doesn’t jibe with the fact that I’ve had two Mach-Es, I’ve had HVJB failures in both of them. Both at sub 10k mileage. And the fact that my smallish local dealership’s service department has seen over a hundred HVJB failures. I don’t think they have sold that many Mach-Es.

First failure I wasn’t really prepared for, and the second that I was very prepared for, and due to the software bandaid was able to get it to the dealership under its own motive power.

There are literally somewhere close to 50k cars out there that it’s not a matter of if, but when, they are going to have a HVJB failure. Ford made a, not unreasonable, calculation that it would cost less and be less difficult to develop a software band-aid to get NHTSA off their back, allow them to sell more cars, and hope the improperly designed cars fail outside of warranty, or it’s not as common as it actually is.
