I ordered my Mach without being able to test drive one anywhere. No one had any in stock. I would have choose the GTPE given the choice. On the bright side, I don't have to count to 5 when accelerating. ?

Back to back my wife's ext AWD vs my GT is night and day. Stiffer springs, more aggressive damping and better tires on wider wheels transforms the vehicle.
Greg, your GT also has stiffer front and rear sway bars than your wife's non-GT. ?

But yes, if handling is a top priority, a good set of tires plus maybe the Steeda sway bars will really tighten things up. Or a GT….
Brian, you hit the nail on the head. If anyone with any model Mach-E, GT or non-GT, wants better handling you only need to upgrade two things. Replace OEM sway bars with the Steeda sway bars and throw on a good set of High Performance Summer or All Season tires. Multiple members here have done just that and have been extremely happy.

Just to be honest here, most folks struggle to hit even .70-.75G on public roads. And That .85G is on the OEM touring all seasons, the 4X summers are prob good for .90G if I had to guess. It’s definitely tire-limited non-GT form.

Some cars come with a G force meter built in. ?

One of the great things about when Ford increases the power limit on the GT (they announced this last week)……. No more 5 second jokes. If you do get the chance to test drive a GT, you’d probably be surprised how much fun you can have in 5 seconds.

? Yep, I see .95-1G+ a couple times per week on the HUD at my favorite local on-camber U-around. 1+G is safe there due to the camber.

Edit: In the SS Sedan, for those thinking I meant our 4X.

Mine came standard in the seat of my pants. Pretty good at letting me know when I'm dancing a little too close, especially with the PuckerFactorXL(tm) upgrade.

Check the tire pressure ?
Tire company I go to puts all 4 at 2.6 bar when I switch winter/summer.
The back gives away in almost every corner then, handling is real bad.

Putting the back wheels at 3.2 bar makes the car drive much better.
Took me 6 months to discover this :(

And if you drive in untamed mode then the back will also go out more but you should know that..

I have the Steeda Sway bars and Pirelli Scorpion Zero All Season Plus tires on my '21 Premium and this car handles better than most cars I've ever driven.
Where and how would get these installed? Does my Ford dealer have access to the bars?

Handling on the GT-PE is awesome with Magnaride. Without being able to test drive I knew I’d regret a lower model on the handling/suspension side. I think you get what you pay for.

It will handle about 100% better with both front and rear Steeda Sway bars. Transforms the car.
