Hands on driving lane keep will not engage

Looks like I may be in a similar boat as others. Ever since the windshield recall, we have been plagued with issues. May be coincidence, maybe not. Next week we bring it in for Front Camera fault which disables cruise control.

That looks like the front camera wasn’t recalibrated properly after the windshield reinstall.

I had my recall and software updates done this week. On way home I tried to use the adaptive cruise control and the bubble doesn’t appear (or the hands on wheel icon). It kept speed but the self drive was not working for sure. I have job 1 and no blue cruise. Definitely not working like before. I believe the cam needs recalibrated and saw a tsb that maybe the impa module needs to be checked. I have to call Monday

That looks like the front camera wasn’t recalibrated properly after the windshield reinstall.

I detail the fix here if anyone is interested and stumbles upon this issue (there are at least 3 threads, so covering bases)

Just got ours back.

Summary:

• The IPMA had stored codes (I also had provided pictures of the fault messages just in case, but good to know the codes were stored)
• The IPMB (Image Processing Module B) located in the rear trunk area of the vehicle tested bad and was replaced
• They realigned the front camera, and road-tested

Interestingly, they indicated there were NO TSBs for this condition. I spent about 30 minutes after pickup driving on a nearby interstate with BlueCruise, and it worked flawlessly. I will definitely keep this thread up to date if that changes. Invoice below for the curious

The same thing just happened to me. Have you been able to fix this problem?

Yes back in June my dealler updated all the modules and software and Got Blue cruise working, and it also stopped my 12v battery faults that I was getting

Everything is now working on my car. After the first round of updates messed it all up I returned to the dealer. They did more updates and set up blue cruise. Now it all works and better than before. Really getting use to not holding the wheel anymore. Love it now. Very happy.

I have a 2021 Mach-E Premium. Until yesterday, I could engage the hands on self driving feature. It stopped working yesterday. I thought it was the Lane keep assist that was turned off, but I toggled it and made sure it was on. I have Intelligent Adaptive Cruise enabled and I can press the Adaptive Cruise button and it will maintain speed. This is only one of the recent issues I have had with the software on the Mach-E. One day it will work fine, the next day it will not work the same way. I’m taking it to my dealer today. I’m not sure if this issue has happened with other Mach-E owners or not. Has anyone else encountered this issue? If so, how did you get it resolved?

I have the exact same issue.That happened to me at the same time it happened to you. Right around May my blue cruise prompts me in yellow lettering “Blue Cruise Not Available” on every road it use to engage on.

Is there any DIY fix I can run or did you all go through dealers? Have the same but no error codes in the log.
