I called my dealer last week and asked him if there was a fix for the TSM SSM50869. After doing some checking he was able to order the new switch. It is being installed next Tues. Yippee!!

That seems like new information. Dealers are often mistaken, so it would be good to get independent confirmation about that.

Being an ex-CDN living in the states, I like having my headlights in during the day.
Which means I turn them to 'Headlamps On"
I have had a couple times now that I get out of the car and the headlights stay on.
Had the neighbor call one night the lights were on.. WTH?
Even tried locking the car etc... and yes I have played with the shut off timer.

Anyone else run into this issue.. I would think that any inactive period a new car would have automatic shut off.

Read it again. He was manually turning his headlights on. But that was over 2 years ago, so he's probably figured it out by now.

And as a reminder to new arrivals: This isn't unique to the MME. That particular switch is causing the same issue in a lot of other vehicles (such as our Raptor.). There are a lot of new switches that need to be built.
