Anyone have this issue fixed? I reach out to Ford about my case by messaging on this site and they messaged back that my issue had been resolved! That was news to me.

Also, someone mentioned they see the headlight issue more often after a software update. That is exactly what I am experiencing after the 4.1.1 update last week. Not sure why there could be a relationship.
Mine still does this regularly and I do not believe there has been a fix released yet.

What Ford meant by your issue has been resolved is that they closed your case with the notes, "engineering is currently working on a fix."

This is a problem with the programming inside the light switch and it cannot be updated with an OTA. Everyone will need a new switch assembly. It also impacts many other Ford models that share the same switch assembly.

It will be fixed in the fall of 2022, so just be patient.

Thanks...good to know. G'luck with resolving it!
I have the same problem with my 2021, purchased Feb 2022. Brought it back to the dealer a couple of months ago. They said it was a software issue and they updated the software. The problem still exist. Twice my lights were on all night in the past couple of weeks. I did see the post about making sure you aren't hearing the warning tones when exiting the car. I guess I will do that until Ford figures it out....

Being an ex-CDN living in the states, I like having my headlights in during the day.
Which means I turn them to 'Headlamps On"
I have had a couple times now that I get out of the car and the headlights stay on.
Had the neighbor call one night the lights were on.. WTH?
Even tried locking the car etc... and yes I have played with the shut off timer.

Anyone else run into this issue.. I would think that any inactive period a new car would have automatic shut off.
Constantly....even in the middle of the night, they will go on...the car must "wake up" and they go on. People are always telling me, "Your lights are on"......I figure as long as it's on "automatic", they will shut off.....EVENTUALLY.

It’s after “November 2022,” and as far as I know the parts to fix it aren’t available still.
My dealer said they ordered the part, but they didn't say when it would come in.....

Not sure your dealer can order the part since it doesn’t exist yet. ?‍♂?

Someone on the Lightning Forum stated that the fix exists and is incorporated on new vehicles built after the first of this year. But I’ve seen nothing official.

I asked my dealer to check it (with TSB number and everything) during my 10k service about 5 or 6 weeks ago. They told me the part is backordered, which I interpreted as "still no fix".

Interestingly, the issue seemed to disappear for me for a few months in the middle of the winter. I had actually begun to winder if one of the newer Sync updates somehow resolved it. But unfortunately the problem has come back recently, happening two or three times during the last few weeks. I wonder if it's related to temperature or humidity.

Anyway, pretty aggravating that we still have to live with this problem.

It’s hit or miss. I’ve had it happen exactly once in 26 months of ownership.

I called my dealer last week and asked him if there was a fix for the TSM SSM50869. After doing some checking he was able to order the new switch. It is being installed next Tues. Yippee!!
