Hello everyone,
I live in NYC and park on the streets as I lost garage access recently.
Long story short, someone opened up my MachE GTPE (looks like the walk away feature might not have triggered this time)...
I had the door keypad access card that comes with the car in my sunglasses holder, and now its gone (along with my sunglasses lol).
My concern is that there is a guy walking around NYC streets with my access card and can open up my card whenever they feel like since they are factory default codes from what I understand. I setup my own door keypad code when I got the card but I do not think it erases the factory codes.
Also cant remember if the card has a backup start code also, i thought I took a picture of the card when I got it but cannot find it.
Anyone know the best way to go about fixing this situation? I guess I'm asking if its possible to change the factory code. Any ideas appreciated.
