Two quick ones have also been shorthand for decades to say "Hey, you have your high beams on." Definitely the one I make the most use of.

I wave most of the time but don't see a lot of return waves. Hard to see my small black paw inside of the black interior through the glass.

The Pudel is the best part of this forum.

If I got waves from Tesla in my area, I would have to always drive one handed.
At one point I was bored at a few traffic lights and counted them. About 1 in 5 cars were Tesla.

I was just thinking to myself, "self, this sounds like San Jose." Then I saw your sig.

I am proposing the Mustang Mach-e wave.

With both hands on steering wheel at 10 and 2, keep thumb and forefinger wrapped on wheel and raise middle, ring and pinky straight up on each side. This signifies the triple bar lights of the Mustang and the E that is formed for electric. Single hand can be used for Mustangs in general.

I flash this all the time and am waiting for the day I get a similar response.

Personally I’m not a fan for the simple reason lack of styling. They all look the same. Maybe bigger or smaller but the same body design just scaled up or down.

I can tell the sedan from the SUV. I can't tell the sedans apart, or the SUVs apart... I know one model of each can have dual motors - and I don't race either - learned that lesson. I know the four models spell SEXY, because Musk is an idiot. But outside the S and 3 (E) and X and Y being sedans and SUVs I have no idea which is which... I even tried to get AI to help me recognize them and it was basically 'I can't help you'. Cybertruck though - that hideous beast I can pick out no problem.

As for seeing MMEs in the wild. There's a Select standard range at work. So I see that in the parking lot daily. I typically see two or three on the road - so probably about 15 or so a week. I've only seen 1 Rally though. Though I've seen it multiple times.

Back a few years ago I came back to my Mach-e in a parking lot and there was a Mach-e hot wheels sitting on windshield waiting for me. Space white and all.

I see a lot of other Mach-Es here in SoCal. Actually had a lady give me a little plastic pony when we parked next to each other at the grocery store. Got to talk real horses with another when we parked next to each other at the feed store.

I wave occasionally, but am usually focused on the traffic.

I will always flash my lights at another Airstream though, but it has to be turning on the running lights so the whole trailer lights up!

50+ years ago, my daddy taught me to look away from the oncoming bright lights to the right side fog line. Uhhh, I don't think so. High beams should be met with your own high beams until the other driver turns theirs off. Now we have 2 blinded drivers going towards each other but I'm still watching that white fog line and staying in my lane !! Don't get me started on those LED light bars in the middle of the grille......
