How do I get more information?

I ordered a California Rt 1 ER eAWD in Iced Blue on 11/11/2021

The status almost immediately went to Order Sent to Dealer and then Order Accepted by Dealer, and since then .... crickets.

I understand this is not an uncommon experience these days, but I am wondering if there's questions I should be asking the dealer to make sure it's not something on their end, or to see if there's anything I can do to get my car even a little bit faster (I am currently borrowing a car from a family member as I ordered this car as it is replacing a car that died)

Any advice on what questions I should be asking the dealer or anything else I can do to make sure that I've done everything I can do to get my car as soon as possible?

Ask them if your vehicle has been scheduled for production yet. I would assume a mid-November order would arrive in late summer.

Have you logged into your Ford account to check order status?

I log in almost every day. I may be masochistic.

Edit: it's not a huge dealership, so should I be asking about allocation? I don't even super understand how that all works

I have seen a lot of chatter on the Park Assist issue. I am unsure if anything needs to be done but many have contacted their dealers to OK the switch from Park Assist to Park Assist Kit. Maybe it will not impact an order but at least you could ask your dealer about it.
